The meditation training course is built on the synthesis of ancient yoga knowledge and modern research in the field of human psychology. Our task is to find suitable methods for harmonizing the state of human consciousness.

Meditation training course

The program in an accessible form provides knowledge and skills for self-study, as well as for future meditation trainers. Practical classes are conducted with experienced teachers. For admission to the course, experience in yoga and meditation is optional.

Course program

    1. The structure of the subtle body: channels, chakras, koshas.
    2. Yama and niyama. 8 steps of yoga according to Patanjali. Pratyahara, dharana, dhyana, samadhi: what are the differences and what are the transitions from one to another.
    3. The main Buddhist sources on meditation: sutras, traditions in the world.
    4. Vegetarianism. The importance of plant-based nutrition for the practice of meditation.
    1. The liberation of the hip joints. Improving their mobility for padmasana.
    2. Improve the mobility of the spine and strengthen the back.
    3. Balance asanas (on the legs, on the arms).
    4. Practice for working out the lower chakras.
    5. Opening the chest, loosening the shoulder girdle and neck.
    6. Fortifying complexes.

    1. How to adjust your posture for meditation. How to work with pain, drowsiness, distraction and agitation of the mind.
    2. The chessha-vipashyana system of meditation (based on the satipathana sutta, anapanasati sutta). What is mindfulness? The difference between meditation and concentration. Basic concepts: samsara and nirvana (samadhi).
    3. The 1st support of mindfulness is the body (contemplation of activity, position, parts of the body, contemplation of the 4th and 5th elements in the body, contemplation of the mortality of the body - work with the fear of death). Gradual transition to a single object of contemplation - breathing as a bodily process.
    4. The 2nd pillar of mindfulness is sensations (contemplation of pleasant, unpleasant and neutral sensations; mundane and unworldly; sensations as a link between body and mind; understanding where different mental states come from). A gradual transition to a single object of contemplation - breathing as a sensation.
    5. 3rd pillar of mindfulness - mind, thoughts (contemplation of thoughts for desire, rejection or delusion). 3 characteristics of mind/being: impermanence, dissatisfaction (suffering), selflessness. Working with emotions (where they come from, how they are expressed on different chakras, you can include concepts from the teachings about the wheel of samsara). A gradual transition to a single object of contemplation - breathing as a fickle, discomforting and selfless process.
    6. The 4th pillar of mindfulness is dharmas (special states of mind that promote progress or regression in practice). 5 obstacles and 7 awakening factors.
    1. Visualization meditations (trataka, images, etc.).
    2. Meditations on sound (mantras, bowls).
    3. Active meditations (mindful walking, recognition of daily activities, etc.).
